You Read It Here First!
If you've been watching Fox News in the past day or so, then you know about the latest controversy involving the left's efforts to silence its critics by using the Federal Communications Commission to go after the news media.
We reported on this assault on the First Amendment last week. Thankfully, Fox News is now giving the issue extensive exposure.

Obama Does It Again
Barack Obama seems to have learned little from his rhetorical missteps regarding intervention in Syria. No doubt you recall his infamous "red line" remark from August 2012. "We have been very clear to the Assad regime … that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized," he said.

Faith Under Fire
News about religious persecution abroad and threats to religious liberty here at home increasingly are part of this daily report. That fact is a sad testament to the times in which we live. But it is important for men and women of faith to understand the danger.
During a recent interview with CNSNews.com, Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia issued a stark warning about the growing danger to religious liberty in America. Here are some excerpts of that interview:

Obama Does It Again
Late yesterday afternoon, the Obama Administration announced that it had delayed Obamacare's employer mandate yet again. That is the second time in a year that the employer mandate has been delayed. Reports indicate that the delay came as a result of pressure from the business community to "peel back the law's … requirements."
Think about that. The administration is providing breaks to big businesses that it refuses to give to individuals and families. It is also a tacit admission that Obamacare's mandates are job killers.

Iran Meets Obama's "Open Hand" With A Clenched Fist
Barack Obama is committed to fundamentally transforming America in more ways than one. Beyond his big spending, big government domestic agenda, his foreign policy is fundamentally altering America's position in the world. Nowhere is this more evident than his policy toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Obama's Prayer Breakfast Hypocrisy
As I mentioned in yesterday's report, I had the privilege of attending the 62nd annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. There were several inspirational speakers, scripture readings and stirring performances.
Of course, remarks by the president of the United States are always a big moment at any event. But sitting there with thousands of people listening as Obama talked, I was stunned by the hypocrisy. Here are a few examples.

Obamacare: A Disincentive To Work
The White House and its congressional allies are scrambling to respond to this week's Congressional Budget Office report finding Obamacare will cost more than two million jobs. The best spin they can come up with is that because of Obamacare's massive taxpayer-funded subsidies, some people will choose to work less. The left-wing New York Times labeled this "a liberating result of the law."
