Too Little, Too Late
Ten House Democrats are pledging to fight the growing influence of far-left socialists in their party. Not surprisingly, they are all in competitive districts. They put up this “fig leaf,” desperately hoping to deflect incoming attacks on the Marxism in their party.
The fact that only 10 House Democrats would put their names to this anti-socialist effort is proof that it is too little. More revealing is the fact that none of them are members of the party leadership. Hakeem Jeffries knows that signing his name to this pledge would be signing his own political death sentence.
The sad reality is that it’s too late. These Democrats are part of a party that promotes socialism every day. This “pledge” has political fear written all over it.
But let’s assume (and I don’t) that they are serious about the pledge. Let’s assume that their party gains control of the House this November. Every committee will be led by an open socialist or a lying socialist who won’t admit it. And nothing but socialist policies will come out of those committees.
If Democrat candidates or incumbents who signed this pledge are running in your district, don’t fall for their attempt to hide their agenda.
Left-wing Lunacy
New York Democrats aren’t the only ones losing their minds. Deep in the heart of Texas, Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico continues to preach from the Gospel of Marx.
Talarico wants to be the savior of Texas Democrats, the one who would lead them out of their almost 40 years of wandering in the electoral desert. I don’t think the majority of Texans want a senator who proudly says he “hates Christianity” because it is the “most violent” religion and has done so much “damage” to Islam.
Or a senator who says prisons are “the consequences of systemic racism and global capitalism.” Sounds like Talarico would fit right in with Mamdani’s New York City Marxists.
The same Democrats who are upset about three liberals being defeated by three Marxists in New York City are all in for James Talarico, Graham Platner and other extreme candidates.
The Democrat Party has embraced socialism/Marxism and Islamism—two of the most murderous philosophies in the history of the world.
The Siren Song Of Socialism
Mayor Zohran Mamdani just rammed through a freeze on the rents of many New York City apartments. Sounds nice, but it won’t help landlords make the money needed for maintenance and repairs.
On the West Coast, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and some labor unions are getting nervous over a retroactive wealth tax on billionaires that will be voted on this November. The groups pushing it submitted twice as many signatures as needed to qualify for the ballot.
Don’t underestimate the appeal of socialism/Marxism at a time when so many young people are still living with their parents and believe the American Dream is dead.
Leftwing populism can only be defeated by conservative populism. Regular Republican rhetoric about free trade and marginal tax rates will not defeat it.
Disappointed & Divided
Seventy-seven percent of Americans believe the signers of the Declaration of Independence would be disappointed in the United States of today. But the reasons they said this show the irreconcilable differences dividing America today.
If you look at the internal findings of the poll, half of the 77% say our Founders would be disappointed because Donald Trump and “Nazis” are in charge. The other half, people like us, say our Founders would be disappointed because our country has drifted from its Christian roots. Many people don’t believe in God at all, let alone that our liberty comes from Him.
So, even this poll shows how divided the country is. We can’t even agree on what ails us!
Why Do Marxists Hate Babies?
The entire political Left just loves the news that someone with any degree of influence has aborted their baby. When “influencers” Jesse and Ashley Ridgway aborted their child with Down syndrome, many ghoulish leftists praised them for “shouting their abortion.” (In contrast, I called them out by name on every platform I could.)
The same leftists can’t stand it when pregnant women talk about their preborn child as if the baby in the womb is a human being. They especially hate conservative women who get pregnant, particularly if they serve in the Trump administration or are married to high-level Trump officials.
The Left’s hatred goes so far as to wish excruciating pain on conservative women during childbirth. When Karoline Leavitt was pregnant, one nurse in Florida said on social media, “I hope you f------ rip from bow to stern and never s--- normally again.”
There is also an incredible effort to shame anyone who has more than one child. Leftists sneeringly refer to people with large families as “breeders.” They say anyone who has more than one child is “destroying the planet.” (These crazy climate alarmists also think we should eat our pets to save the planet.)
Some even say they hate the world so much that they won’t have any children at all. “Why would anyone bring a baby into this world?”
So, they started with the idea that each woman has the right to control her own body, meaning the “right to kill” a pre-born baby. Bill Clinton said that act should be “safe, legal, and rare.”
Then, they morphed into, “Why rare? It’s a precious right. We should ‘shout our abortions’ in order to protect that right.”
Next, it was the environmentalist version of Communist China’s one-child policy, or having no children at all because “the world is going to end in 12 years.” That’s what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said 7 years ago about “climate change,” so we don’t have much time!
Now, the hate-filled Left is saying, “Look at these right-wing women having babies. I hope they suffer!” Others, including the current Democrat attorney general of Virginia, say, “I hope conservative mothers have their children die in their arms because that’s the only way they will learn a lesson.”
These people are sick.
Exploiting A Senseless Murder
Many Americans followed the trial of Karmelo Anthony in Texas. Anthony brutally stabbed Austin Metcalf to death over a meaningless argument. The murderer was a young Black man and the victim was a young White man.
There was no evidence presented during Anthony’s trial that pointed to race as a factor in this violent taking of a young man’s life. Black students testified against Anthony.
Sadly, the parents of the convicted murderer believe that racism determined the outcome of the trial and sentencing, even though their son confessed within minutes. When a police officer reported that he had the “alleged suspect” in custody, Anthony objected, saying, “I’m not alleged. I did it.” Given these facts, the jury did not take long to reach a guilty verdict.
So, one family has lost a son forever, and the other family is seeing their son’s future being destroyed as a result of his own actions. But the “race baiting” vultures are still circling.
There is an emerging effort on the Left to exploit the Karmelo Anthony verdict during the elections. The goal is to make this a national cause seen exclusively through a racial lens, i.e., George Floyd and the summer of 2020.
I pray to God they fail.
