A Sign Of Sickness

Next month, the sickness of the Left will be on full display in San Francisco. And, no, I’m not referring to “Pride Month.”

Luigi The Musical” is set to open June 13th at the Taylor Street Theater. And, no, it has nothing to do with Super Mario Brothers, Mario and Luigi.

This is a musical about the demented assassin Luigi Mangione, who murdered UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, even though he did not have a health insurance policy with UnitedHealthcare.

He was a fan of “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski and believed that violence to fix social wrongs is justifiable. He would be a good member of Antifa.

Women are falling in love with Mangione. He’s inundated with love letters in jail. He has been praised as a “morally good man.” An online fundraiser for his legal defense fund has received more than $967,000 in donations.

We represent one side in America’s culture war, fighting against the Left’s insanity and the demonic forces tearing our country apart. We see it every day. There is no compromise on this. That’s why I often say, “America won’t be great again until America is Godly again.”

Just think about this: if the assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania, had killed Donald Trump, we would be seeing “Thomas Crooks the Musical.”

Some of you are probably thinking, “No one would ever do that.” Yes, they would. They have already done it!

Going Strong

Once again, the Trump economy beat the “experts.” Economists predicted job growth in April would be 133,000 new jobs. It was actually 177,000 new jobs.

The healthcare sector was the biggest job creator last month. There were also 29,000 new jobs in transportation and warehousing. But we have been told nonstop for the last 90 days that Trump’s tariffs would destroy transportation and warehousing.

I’m not suggesting there is no impact on businesses from higher tariffs. In some cases, the impact can be significant. But the economy overall appears very strong.

If the administration is able to secure a few trade deals currently in the works, we’re setting up an opportunity for a vibrant, growing economy in the second half of the year.

April’s job growth beat expectations in spite of the fact that there are 9,000 fewer bureaucrats in the federal government. That’s a positive for the economy, in my view. But it actually understates how much Trump has shrunk the government.

Since Trump took office, 26,000 federal jobs have been eliminated. Many federal workers took early retirement. That’s not someone being fired, so it doesn’t count as unemployment. But the job is gone.

While looking through this morning’s jobs report, Stephen Moore exclaimed, "436,000 increase in the number of people who are employed. [Labor force participation.] So, this is an amazing report. . . The labor force participation rate rose. So, this is a very strong number.”

By the way, after weeks of fretting that Trump was refusing to talk to communist China (it’s China, not us, who is in trouble), the Wall Street Journal reports that communist China is asking for talks in its usual face-saving way, beginning with how it can reduce the flow of deadly fentanyl into our country -- one of Trump’s major demands.

Trump: Roll Tide!

President Donald Trump delivered the commencement address last night at the University of Alabama. The university normally holds seven commencement ceremonies. Last night, they packed them all into one.

While academia and the media tear down America and only say how bad things are, the president inspired the 6,600 graduates to strive for excellence and achieve greatness. He said:

“You’re the first graduating class of the Golden Age of America. . . You’ll embrace this moment, and you’ll step forward with strength and grit, faith, and patriotism to put America on a new trajectory for your children. . .

“Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible. . . In America, the impossible is what we all do best. There’s nothing you cannot do if you’re willing to fight for it. You’ve got to fight, fight, fight.

“Graduates of the Alabama class of 2025 . . . it is clear to see: the next chapter of the American story will not be written by the Harvard Crimson. It will be written by you -- the Crimson Tide. . . I thought that was rather clever.”

Of course, the president’s remarks were well received by the Alabama audience. But he got a huge roar from the crowd when he said this:

“Congratulations as well to the women’s track and field team for winning two SEC titles this year. That’s something. . . And as long as I’m president, we will always protect women’s sports. Men will not play in women’s sports. No way!”

No Compromise

Yesterday was the National Day of Prayer. I was honored to be at the White House, where the whole day was dedicated to promoting religious liberty. But as the White House was preparing for the National Day of Prayer, Democrats were up to something very different – scheming to undermine religious liberty.

They have reintroduced the so-called “Equality Act,” and they’re all in. Every single House Democrat co-sponsored the bill, proving yet again that they have no intention of becoming more moderate after last year’s defeat.

In spite of its name, this bill has nothing to do with equality. It has everything to do with ramming the radical LGBTQ agenda down our throats. It is a direct attack on religious liberty, religious schools, faith-based organizations, parental rights, and more.

Among other things, this bill makes transgender insanity a civil right. (See next item.)

That means every state law protecting girls from boys cheating in girls’ sports would be overturned. Men would be free to intrude into women’s restrooms. Christian organizations would be forced to hire men in dresses or be accused of discrimination.

Nothing could stop radical LGBTQ indoctrination from intruding into our children’s classrooms. Christians who don’t “affirm” a child’s gender confusion would be banned from serving as foster parents and could lose custody of their own children.

Our First Amendment right of religious freedom is much more than just going to church on one day of the week. It is living out your faith every day of the week. It is being free from the government forcing us to do and say things that violate our religious beliefs.

If the Equality Act passes, all of that is nullified. It is an anti-religious freedom act.

The timing of this radical bill being reintroduced is revealing. Democrats think they have a little momentum right now, and this is what they go to.

Children At Risk

Radical transgender ideology is a central pillar of the Left, which takes the absurd belief that men can get pregnant as gospel. And they’re telling us to “follow the science.”

Speaking of science, the Department of Health and Human Services just released an extensive report on “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria.” It found that the evidence allegedly supporting so-called “gender-affirming care” is “very weak.”

In addition, these grotesque procedures subject children to very real harms, including reduced bone density, cardiovascular disease, surgical complications, and psychiatric disorders

As we have noted many times before, all of this has been known for years. That’s why Europe is slamming the brakes on this insanity.

But the Left suppressed the truth, silenced those who spoke out, and put its radical agenda and greed before our children’s well-being.

Thankfully, under President Donald Trump and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., we are putting real science first!
