Deal Or No Deal

Washington is buzzing with reports of a potential deal between the United States and Iran. It would essentially extend the ceasefire for 60 days, open the Strait of Hormuz, and begin negotiations on a permanent resolution to Iran’s nuclear program.

As of this writing, President Trump has yet to approve the deal. There are also reports that hardliners in Iran are attempting to sabotage it. We will keep you posted.

Dr. Jill’s Diagnosis

CBS News has released a preview of an upcoming interview with Dr. Jill Biden, and it’s going viral. When asked what was going through her mind as she watched her husband’s disastrous debate performance that ended his presidential campaign, Dr. Biden said:

“I was frightened, because I had never, ever seen Joe like that before or since. Never. . . as I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”

I understand her anxiety, but it isn’t believable that she’s “never seen Joe like that before or since.” We saw him!

Right now, the Bidens are fighting to prevent closed-door audio recordings of interviews Joe Biden did from being released to the public. Why? Because in those interviews Biden couldn’t remember basic events in his life. He couldn’t remember when he was vice president. He couldn’t remember when his son, Beau, died. He couldn’t remember the advice his generals gave him.

And we all remember what Special Counsel Robert Hur said. Hur didn’t charge Biden for keeping classified documents because no jury would convict an “elderly man with a poor memory.” In other words, Joe was not mentally competent to stand trial.

We all saw it with our own eyes for four long years. There’s a reason Joe Biden is known as the “autopen president”—because he wasn’t mentally all there and other people in the White House were running the country.

Yet, the Biden White House and their leftist media allies treated us like we were all crazy. “Joe is sharp as a tack.” “It was just one bad day.” “He had a cold.” The excuses went on and on.

As a reminder, Biden spent a week at Camp David “preparing” for that infamous debate. We later learned that he took a lot of naps during that time. And if Dr. Jill was so concerned about her husband’s health during the debate, why did she take him to the Waffle House afterward?

But now, the same media that turned a blind eye to Biden’s declining health are suddenly obsessed with Donald Trump’s health.

Defending Nigeria’s Christians

President Trump held his 12th cabinet meeting of his second term yesterday. For those keeping track, that’s 12 cabinet meetings in 16 months. Joe Biden held nine cabinet meetings—in four years.

One significant announcement at yesterday’s meeting came from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. He wanted to let the American people know that there are many things going on that the media doesn’t talk about, and he singled out the president’s commitment to defending Christians in Nigeria. By some estimates, as many as 32 Christians are killed in Nigeria every day.

Having served as a Trump appointee to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) during the first Trump term, I know a lot about this terrible problem. The Biden/Harris administration removed Nigeria from the State Department’s list of the world’s worst violators of religious freedom—a decision USCIRF denounced as “appalling.”

Last year, President Trump put Nigeria back on the list. “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN’. . . The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria.” [Country of Particular Concern is a legal term used to identify a country engaged in persecution.]

At yesterday’s cabinet meeting, Secretary Hegseth said:

“I just want to note one more thing to give you a sense of how committed this president is. Maybe a year ago he heard the call of Nigerian Christians who were being targeted and killed by ISIS in Nigeria, and he said, ‘Pete, I want the War Department to focus on ensuring that we do everything we can to protect those Christians. Partnerships like that can take time behind the scenes, but he never wavered on it. . .

“Over the last month—and there hasn’t been much coverage of this—we killed ISIS’ number two in Nigeria, who is most responsible for killing Christians . . . and have since killed hundreds of ISIS members who were targeting and killing Christians in Nigeria, creating a whole new opportunity there.”

Please continue to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters all over the world.

Get The Trump App

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced this morning that an app for the new Trump Accounts is now available to download from all mobile app stores. The app, which doesn’t formally launch until July 4th when the Trump Accounts are activated, was developed with support from Bank of New York Mellon and Robinhood.

These accounts are another major achievement by President Trump and the Republican Congress that isn’t getting the attention it deserves.

Starting July 4th, every child born in 2025 through 2028 can receive a one-time $1,000 contribution from the U.S. government into a Trump Account. Parents, grandparents, employers, charities—virtually anyone—can also contribute to a child’s Trump Account.

Only children born in 2025 through 2028 are eligible for the $1,000 government bonus. But thanks to Michael and Susan Dell, children 10 or under and born before Jan. 1, 2025, may get $250 if they live in a ZIP code where the median income is $150,000 or less.

Special funds have also been established for children in Connecticut and Indiana. Rap artist Nicki Minaj is donating money to the Trump Accounts of her fans’ children. “The true meaning of paying it forward. Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life,” Minaj wrote.

These tax-advantaged investment accounts could be worth $270,000 in 18 years. Six million children have already been signed up for Trump Accounts. To learn more, visit TrumpAccounts.gov

Another Justice Threatened

The hate-filled, violent Left has struck again. Last night, Washington, D.C., police responded to a call reporting gunfire at a residence. Thankfully, the police knew the address was a “location of interest” with security on site.

It was the home of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. After talking to Barrett’s security team, the police quickly determined that the call was a “swatting” hoax.

“Swattings” are fake calls to 911 and they are cruel and extremely dangerous. They are intended to get people killed by making the victim think someone dangerous is attempting to break into their home or is threatening them.

In reality, it’s just the police responding to what they believe is a serious incident. But victims often end up handcuffed and detained until police can determine what is going on.

This story isn’t getting much coverage because it ended peacefully. But make no mistake about what just happened: This was another despicable attempt by the Left to intimidate the conservative majority on the Supreme Court. Justice Barrett has seven children, six of whom are under 18. This could have been a devastating incident.

Don’t Mess With Texas

Well, the marquee Senate race of the 2026 campaign is on! Most pundits and talking heads are focused on Ken Paxton’s negatives.

The Paxton campaign just released its first general election ad, and it is a good summary of James Talarico’s negatives. You can watch it here.
