He’s Back
Former President Joe Biden made two appearances recently; one was in person, and the other was symbolic. The real-life appearance was an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). A foreign media outlet is an interesting choice for his first post-presidency interview.
Asked why he didn’t step down earlier to give Kamala Harris a better chance at winning the presidency, Biden said, “I don’t think it would have mattered.” OUCH! I’m guessing the relationship between Joe and Kamala is pretty frosty.
Then he said, “And what happened was, I had become—what we had set out to do, no one told me to do, we’d become so successful, our agenda was hard to say ‘I wanna stop now.’” WHAT?!
By the end of the interview, it was obvious why he never should have been president for one day, never mind four years. He barely functions now that he doesn’t have a staff of medical co-conspirators to “dope” him up. One media outlet said Biden “coughed and mumbled” his way through the interview.
Biden’s symbolic appearance occurred last week in Times Square, when his disastrous open borders policy was on full display. A feral gang of Tren de Aragua “youth” attacked New York City police in broad daylight while also trying to mug women.
Just like America was under Biden, New York City is one big sanctuary for illegal aliens and a jungle for the rest of us. Some of the gang members who attacked the police were as young as 12. All those arrested are illegal aliens. They should be kicked out of the country immediately!
If federal immigration agents attempt to carry out their own arrests since New York City leftist bureaucrats refuse to cooperate, every Democrat politician and cable news talking head will defend these young thugs while accusing President Trump of “deporting children.”
President Trump has, almost miraculously, solved the illegal entry problem. Now, he’s trying to solve the “get them out of here” problem, but the entire left-wing establishment is fighting him.
Remember this, my friends.
If the neo-Marxists win control of Congress next year or the White House in 2028, they will go right back to open borders and no deportations because their political future depends on it. The only chance they have of winning is to replace American citizens and voters with more malleable potential voters from the Third World.
The Left’s Victim Blaming
Loudoun County, Virginia, just outside the nation’s capital, is once again embroiled in a controversy rooted in transgender ideology. The leftists who run Loudoun County refuse to learn.
A few years ago, a boy claiming to be a girl sexually assaulted a girl in the girls’ bathroom. This time, a girl claiming to be a boy is harassing boys in the boys’ locker room.
The boys avoided doing the most normal thing in the world that teenage boys might do, which is to ogle the girl. Instead, they stood in the corner and asked why a girl was in their locker room. Making matters worse, the girl recorded the boys on her cell phone, so this appears to have been a setup.
Well, guess which students school officials are investigating? Loudoun’s leftist bureaucrats are going after the boys, accusing them of sex discrimination in violation of Title IX. That’s right – they’re blaming the victims!
Gov. Glenn Youngkin is furious and has ordered Virginia’s attorney general to step in. Youngkin said:
“It’s deeply concerning to read reports of yet another incident in Loudoun County schools where members of the opposite sex are violating the privacy of students in locker rooms. Even more alarming, the victims of this violation are the ones being investigated. This is beyond belief!”
This is the sick ideology the radical left is attempting to force on us. They are demanding that we believe a girl can be a boy. And if you object to being forced to lie, you will be punished.
Remember this, my friends. Because if the “progressives” gain power, parents who refuse to “affirm” their child’s mental illness will be prosecuted. It’s already happening. (Here and here.)
Minnesota Goes Topless
Minnesota’s all-Democrat Supreme Court just discovered a new constitutional “right” for women: The right to expose their breasts in public.
The case involved a woman who was arrested for repeatedly exposing herself in public, including in a gas station parking lot. The woman also had cocaine in her purse when she was arrested, which probably explains her behavior.
She was charged and convicted of “indecent exposure for willfully and lewdly exposing her private parts.” But Minnesota’s left-wing justices overturned her conviction, contending that it is not lewd for women to expose their breasts in public.
So, the Minnesota Supreme Court just declared the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes to be one big topless beach!
The Coming Radical Revolution
Historian Victor Davis Hanson has posted an interesting description of today’s Democrat Party. Pointing to Illinois Senator Dick Durbin’s surprise retirement announcement, Hanson notes there is a “changing of the guard” taking place.
Joe Biden is gone. Durbin will soon be gone. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are on life support. We know how Schumer and Pelosi are difficult to deal with. But the next generation of Democrat leaders – Crockett, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Tlaib – are crazy.
What Hanson calls a “changing of the guard” is more of a radical revolution, in my view. And even older Democrats are terrified of the civil war raging in their party.
Trump’s Pope Joke
You probably saw the meltdown some people had after President Trump posted a meme depicting him as the pope. Some Catholics were upset by it. Cardinal Timothy Dolan curtly said, “It wasn’t good.”
Asked about the meme at a White House press conference, Trump said it was a joke, adding, “Actually, I would not be able to be married, though. That would be a lot. To the best of my knowledge, popes aren’t big on getting married, are they?”
I wonder if anyone offended by this meme was just as upset, if not more so, when Barack Obama and Joe Biden were trying to put Catholic nuns in jail or when Biden’s FBI was spying on Catholic churches.
But since people are getting upset about political figures making a joke about the pope, I was reminded this morning that there are actual governments trying to influence the conclave taking place right now to select the next pope.
French President Emmanuel Macron is reportedly pushing for a liberal French pope who, like Francis, will champion “progressive” causes.
The communist Chinese (you know, the people who don’t believe there is a God) reportedly want the cardinal who cut a sweetheart deal giving the Chinese Communist Party power over the Catholic Church in China to become the next pope.
I haven’t heard any of those offended by a funny meme express their outrage over either of those far more serious offenses.
America Is Winning
The loser mentality is deeply ingrained in America’s elites. To them, America is always in a weak and vulnerable position. “We can’t do that,” they say. “We don’t have the power.”
Their theme in this current trade controversy is that Premier Xi, China’s communist dictator, doesn’t have to worry about elections. Donald Trump does. Xi has the strong hand. Donald Trump does not. The reality is the exact opposite.
Long before Trump’s tariffs, billionaire investor Kyle Bass was saying communist China is in big trouble. Noting that communist China sends us $440 billion in goods and we send them $140 billion in goods, Bass said, “In a tit-for-tat trade war, we win every time. . . The pain is much greater on their side than our side.”
He’s right. Communist China has massive youth unemployment. Protests are breaking out because Trump’s tariffs have shut down Chinese manufacturing, while American manufacturers are “going like gangbusters.”
Bass also says that communist China is lying (that’s what communists do) about its economic strength. He’s right. The Wall Street Journal notes that it’s difficult to tell how bad China’s economy is because “the data needed to answer is vanishing.”
With no explanation, Chinese officials just stopped “publishing hundreds of data points once used by researchers and investors.” The communist Chinese wouldn’t be “disappearing” the data if they were good. Further suggesting the data are not good, Beijing just launched a series of “sweeping measures” to boost its collapsing economy.
China expert Gordon Chang says Xi is losing power. Xi reportedly tried to take control of the People’s Liberation Army, but Chang reports that a leading rival to Xi is “effectively running the People’s Liberation Army . . . the most important faction of the [Chinese Communist Party].”
Now, after days of denying any talks were taking place, Beijing is eager to talk.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will meet with Chinese officials in Switzerland this week. Bessent said these talks would not be about a “big trade deal” but would focus first on de-escalating from the high, embargo-level tariffs.
