The Wheels Of Justice

“The wheels of justice turn slowly but grind exceedingly fine.” You’ve probably heard that phrase before. While many conservatives, myself included, are often frustrated by the Left’s lack of accountability, we can applaud when it happens.

We have told you recently about the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on fraud and corruption. Serious measures are being taken, and people are going to jail

Here’s the latest example: The Justice Department just charged 15 members of Antifa for attacking federal immigration police and violently interfering in immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis.

The Trump Justice Department isn’t going after parents trying to protect their children. It’s not going after conservative churches. They are going after rioters and revolutionaries trying to stop federal immigration police from removing illegal aliens.

That’s what a Justice Department should be doing—protecting the country, not attempting to intimidate parents exercising their G-d-given right to protect their children!

There is a HUGE difference between the justice that a conservative populist president pursues and the injustice that leftists pursue when they have power. Never forget that. And don’t hesitate to remind your friends and family next time the opportunity arises.

The Enemy Within

The revolutionaries of Antifa and the nihilist extremists plotting to attack the White House UFC event have a lot in common—they are a “fifth column” inside the United States determined to bring us down.

They hate Jews. They hate Israel. They hate America. They have been convinced that the solution to everything is violence and murder. They sympathize with America’s enemies, and they are a growing problem.

The mother who called the police and exposed the plot to attack the White House UFC event told law enforcement that a couple of months ago her son was just a normal guy. But then he started finding a lot of stuff online that was making him rethink everything. A couple of months later, he’s plotting with extremists to attack the White House and kill people.

There will always be dangerously disturbed people law enforcement must contend with. But make no mistake about it: Communist China, Iran and Russia are doing everything they can to cause America to break apart. They would love to see us in another civil war. And our enemies are behind many of the bizarre online conspiracy theories that are radicalizing some people.

Vance vs. The View

President Trump dominated this week’s G-7 summit in France. You could see it in any fair report. Meanwhile, Vice President J.D. Vance dominated The View. He calmly and methodically answered every ludicrous attack by those cackling crows.

I must say, it would take superhuman strength for me to be as patient in letting these leftist faux feminists drone on and on repeating lie after lie. Taking a page out of the Democrat playbook, they tried to exploit the “Epstein files” to smear Trump.

Vance replied, “One of the things you see in the Epstein emails is that Jeffrey Epstein hated Donald Trump, and that Donald Trump literally reported Jeffrey Epstein to the police.”

As a reminder, Donald Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago. Not only that, an attorney who represents dozens of Epstein victims said Trump was “the only person” in 2009 who helped him investigate Epstein and that Trump was “very helpful.”

MLB Update

Major League Baseball is under fire for attempting to intimidate and restrict the religious liberty and free speech rights of its Christian athletes. Pitchers on the San Francisco Giants wrote “Genesis 9:12-16” on the team’s “Pride” hats. MLB officials delivered a warning to the players on behalf of the intolerant LGBTQ movement.

Now conservatives are pushing back.

Reacting to the MLB’s warning, Vice President Vance posted on social media, “Trump won, we don’t have to do this anymore.”

Senator Josh Hawley fired off a letter to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred warning Manfred that there appears to be a pattern of discrimination against players who profess their Christian faith. Hawley’s letter demanded answers to a series of specific legal questions.

Florida Attorney General John Uthmeier is threatening legal action.

A good friend on the West Coast and supporter of our work reminded me today that Major League Baseball has been exempted from anti-trust laws for a century. They are the only sport with this “perk.” Since they are always carrying water for the far Left, I am going to suggest to our friends in the White House that their anti-trust exemption should be reconsidered.

Trump Plays Hardball

When President Trump appointed Bill Pulte to be acting director of national intelligence (DNI), Democrats did their usual thing and went ballistic. They threatened to defeat any vote reauthorizing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), a key national security law, as long as Pulte served as DNI.

A few days later, the president later nominated U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton to serve as director of national intelligence for the remainder of his term.

Democrats demanded a quick confirmation vote for Clayton to get Pulte out of the sensitive intelligence position as quickly as possible. A handful of Republican weenies did their usual thing and immediately caved to the Democrats’ demands. Clayton’s nomination was fast-tracked through the Senate, and a confirmation hearing was scheduled to take place today.

President Trump is now blasting Republican senators for falling into another trap. He posted on social media that he was canceling Clayton’s hearing until his nominee to replace Clayton is confirmed by the Senate.

In addition, Trump declared that he will not sign FISA reauthorization legislation without the SAVE America Act attached to it. In the meantime, Trump said Bill Pulte stays right where he is.

Some people concerned about national security are very worried that if FISA isn’t reauthorized immediately, it could put us in danger. Here’s my answer to that: What puts us in danger more than anything is the prospect of the increasingly Marxist/Islamist Democrat Party getting back in control, at least in part because they continue to corrupt our elections. (See below.)

That is the great threat to our national security and to our national cohesion.

Once again, Trump understands that Americans must believe that our elections are not corrupted like every other government program the Democrats control. If Republicans don’t get that, it just shows there is no cure for stupid.

Thune’s Tune

Senate Republican Leader John Thune was interviewed last night on Fox News. When pressed by Bret Baier about the president’s desire to get rid of the filibuster in order to pass critical legislation like the Save America Act, Thune replied that he was “bound by arithmetic,” adding “the votes currently aren’t there.”

Well, if the Democrats get control of the Senate, the votes will be there. They will not hesitate to “nuke the filibuster.” They won’t allow the Senate’s precious “traditions” to stand in their way. If Democrats get control of the Senate, they will get rid of the filibuster, and then it’s going to be too late.

This debate isn’t about protecting the filibuster for the future. It’s about protecting the future of America. If Republicans eliminate the filibuster, they will do so in order to advance things that help the country. If Democrats eliminate the filibuster, they will push things that eliminate our liberties.

The Results

A handful of states held primary elections yesterday. President Trump’s endorsed nominees prevailed in Senate runoff elections in Alabama and Georgia. In the Georgia governor’s race, billionaire Rick Jackson prevailed over Lt. Gov. Burt Jones. Jackson will face Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms, whose tenure as a one-term mayor of Atlanta will provide plenty of fodder for the general election.

Other significant results indicate that Democrats are continuing their lurch to the Left. It appears that the nation’s capital will soon have a far-left socialist as mayor. In California, socialist Aisha Wahab, known as the “West Coast AOC,” is leading the race to replace disgraced Democrat Eric Swalwell.

A Win For Faith

After Charlie Kirk was assassinated last year, a high school student in Charlotte, North Carolina, painted a tribute to Kirk on a rock where students were allowed to put “spirit messages.”

She painted “Freedom 1776” and “Live Like Kirk John 11:25.” That verse reads, “Jesus said unto her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.’”

The school immediately painted over it and attempted to punish the Christian student, accusing her of “vandalism.”

Our friends at the Alliance Defending Freedom took her case. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district cried “Uncle” this week. It gave the student $95,000 and is revamping school rules on free expression.
