Obama Occupies Stolen Land
Barack Obama officially opened his presidential center/library yesterday, and, of course, he attacked President Trump. Michelle Obama said that immigrants—without making any distinction between legal and illegal—are “the beating heart of America.” Are illegal immigrants more the heart of America than native-born Americans? That doesn’t make any sense.
Valerie Jarrett, who was Barack Obama’s “consigliere” or closest advisor, began the event by delivering a “land acknowledgement” to tribes no one has ever heard of. Of course, she did.
I do not understand why land acknowledgement has become a rite among the Left. If you feel so strongly or guilty, then don’t build on it! Buy the land and donate it to the descendants of those tribes.
Instead, Jarrett should have given an acknowledgement to the multiple minority-owned businesses the Obama Center has not paid. Several of these small companies are teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.
Courage Is Contagious
A minor league baseball team called the York Revolution (York, Pennsylvania) forfeited their game this week after multiple players refused to wear gay pride jerseys for “Pride Night.” The management of the team publicly bashed their own players and then hosted a “Gay Pride Night” without the baseball game.
I believe the courage of the players on the San Francisco Giants likely inspired this resistance by the York Revolution players. I hope and pray it is part of a growing revolution among other athletes and normal people who say, “No, you can’t force me to express pride in something I don’t feel pride in. Why would I?”
I know a number of people associated with various Christian groups involved in athletics, and I am going to make this free speech/religious liberty issue a priority.
By the way, the Justice Department just initiated an investigation of Major League Baseball for potential First Amendment violations.
ACTION ITEM: If you would like to respectfully share your thoughts with the York Revolution management, you can email them at this address: info@yorkrevolution.com.
America Approves
A new poll finds that 56% of Americans approve of the ceasefire deal President Trump signed with Iran. Only 13% disapprove, while 31% don’t know what to think.
When the conflict with Iran began, the American people were solidly against it. The president’s MAGA base was divided. Unlike the Democrat Party, the American people overwhelmingly wanted us to win it, but they didn’t like getting into it in the first place.
Now President Trump is trying to end the conflict because we have accomplished a great deal and the public is applauding the ceasefire. |

Lebanon & Israel
Iran is doing everything it can to drive a wedge between Israel and the United States. But I want to state a simple truth that I know President Trump and Vice President Vance understand: Israel cannot permit Iran’s terrorist proxy forces to mobilize on their borders.
If there were any doubts about that, they were dispelled by the attack on October 7, 2023, by Hamas out of Gaza.
Iran has no territorial claim on the country of Lebanon. None. This is not a land dispute.
Moreover, no Israeli government would last a day if it sat passively by after terrorist attacks were launched from Gaza, Lebanon or anywhere else. Israel is a sovereign nation. We wouldn’t tolerate drug cartels firing rockets and explosive drones at us from Mexico. We would do whatever we had to do.
There are reports that Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a ceasefire. Pray that it holds.
Jimmy Can’t Cut The Cord
Recent financial reports show that Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico has a checking account with something between $15,000 and $50,000 in it. (These disclosure reports don’t ask for a specific amount, just a broad range.)
Talarico is 37 years old. It turns out that his only checking account is a joint account with his mother.
I know many young Americans are struggling to become independent. I believe conservatives have better ideas than Marxists do on how best to achieve that.
But can’t we all agree that an individual who has never had his own checking account and has never really accomplished anything shouldn’t be making big decisions for the rest of us in the United States Senate?
