Trump’s Announcements
President Trump just wrapped up another Oval Office press conference, taking many questions from reporters after making two big announcements. Trump’s transparency and willingness to engage the media stand in stark contrast to the way “Sleepy Joe’s” handlers hid him from the media.
The main purpose of today’s press conference was to announce that the Space Force’s command headquarters would be moved from Colorado to Huntsville, Alabama. President Trump cited Colorado’s corrupt all mail-in ballot election system as a major reason for the move.
The left-wing media will spin this announcement as “partisan punishment” against a Blue state. That’s wrong. The decision to locate Space Command in Alabama was made during the first Trump administration. But Joe Biden made a partisan decision to punish Red Alabama and move Space Command to Colorado.
President Trump also announced that the U.S. Navy had destroyed a cartel boat full of drugs coming out of Venezuela. Once again, President Trump is putting Americans first by keeping this poison out of our country.
Tariff Wars
The war against President Trump’s tariffs escalated late last week. This time, however, the opposition wasn’t foreign nations objecting to the tariffs. It was leftist judges who declared the tariffs unconstitutional. Just another example of leftist judges waging war against Donald Trump.
President Trump used the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose some tariffs to fight the flow of drugs into the United States in connection with his declared national emergency at the southern border. He imposed other tariffs on products coming into the United States, citing the gutting of America’s industrial base as a national emergency.
But a federal appeals court claimed that only Congress has the power to impose tariffs, not the president. The court suspended its decision until mid-October so the Supreme Court can weigh in.
If this decision is upheld by the Supreme Court, it will be a complete disaster for America.
It’s a huge blow to the president’s ability to negotiate with foreign countries. Tariffs are a powerful tool that President Trump has brilliantly used. Countries and corporations have pledged trillions of dollars in investments in the United States because they want to manufacture here avoid tariffs on products made abroad.
President Trump has also used the threat of tariffs to end wars.
The president told Cambodia and Thailand that they couldn’t negotiate a trade deal with the United States as long as they were at war. They quickly announced a ceasefire agreement, and the president reduced tariffs on both countries. Trump is also using tariffs in his efforts to bring the war in Ukraine to an end.
In addition, Trump’s tariffs are raising hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue that can be used to decrease our national debt.
About Those Children
Another fake news controversy erupted over the weekend when a Biden-appointed judge ordered the Trump administration to not return Guatemalan children to their families in Guatemala. The news coverage completely distorted the facts. It was pure propaganda.
The fake news media made it sound like Trump snatched these kids off the streets and was rushing to get them out of the country as quickly as possible, cruelly separating them from their families here.
To be clear: President Trump was not “deporting children.” These children came to the United States as unaccompanied minors, and Donald Trump was trying to reunite them with their parents in Guatemala.
At least one plane was already in the air and was forced to turn around when a Biden judge “kidnapped” the children and prevented them from being reunited with their parents.
By the way, the government of Guatemala asked us to send its children home!
This is another example of how we must be discerning in this age of deception. It’s also another example of how the Left wants every illegal alien to remain in the United States.
Left-wing Hate
Just before the holiday weekend, we went a couple of days without President Trump being very visible. Radical leftists and some in the media immediately broke out not just in speculation, but in celebration that Donald Trump may have died.
Trump has already survived two assassination attempts, and they still want him dead. That’s how sick, demented, and hateful many on the political Left are. But their balloons were burst when pictures emerged of the president playing golf with his granddaughter.
The president also had a little fun at the Left’s expense. On his Truth Social platform, he wrote, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE. Also, DC IS A CRIME-FREE ZONE.”
At his Oval Office press conference today, President Trump was asked about the rumors that he may have died because he didn’t do any public press conferences in recent days. Trump said, “Biden wouldn’t do them for months, and no one said anything!”
Not A Crime-Free Zone
Well, the war goes on. Dozens of people were shot over the weekend. At least eight were killed. Did that happen in Kyiv? No. It was Chicago, where the streets are often war zones.
While bullets were flying and the body count was rising, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, both left-wing Democrats, stood before the media and denied that there was any problem at all that justifies federal law enforcement assistance.
They essentially said, “There’s nothing wrong here. There’s no need for additional law enforcement. Donald Trump doesn’t care about crime. He wants to use the military to cancel the 2026 elections.”
That’s disgusting! Even the liberal Democrat mayor of Washington, D.C., admits that President Trump’s National Guard deployments resulted in a major reduction in crime. Trump told reporters today that he will deal with Chicago’s crime crisis because, as president, he has an obligation to protect the American people.
Once again, a top issue facing the American people is being totally ignored by the Democrat Party. Just like Joe Biden’s runaway inflation, they’re acting like crime doesn’t exist. And while crime affects us all, it hits urban minorities especially hard. But Democrats are doing nothing about it.
Instead, they’re using fear to drive minorities to the polls, saying Republicans want to put them back into slavery. I’m not exaggerating.
It was Joe Biden who told a Black audience that Republicans want to “put you all back in chains.” It was Joe Biden who compared commonsense election integrity laws to segregation. It was Kamala Harris who compared our immigration police to the KKK.
Meanwhile, Democrats don’t care one whit about Black, Hispanic, and Asian citizens who are ducking gangs and dodging bullets every day of the year. They don’t care about minority children stuck in failing, drug-infested inner-city schools. They don’t care about minority families struggling to find decent jobs because criminals have driven businesses out of their communities.
Democrats may not care about crime, but President Trump does. Thankfully, he’s doing something about it. In fact, as the Trump administration arrests and deports more criminal illegal aliens, violent crime is going down.
Trump Demands Answers
The fake news media are doing everything they can to undermine the efforts of the Trump White House to rein in the healthcare bureaucracy. There are also unconfirmed reports that Big Pharma is launching a massive lobbying campaign to push HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., out of his job.
Meanwhile, President Trump made a surprising announcement yesterday. He demanded full transparency from Big Pharma about the COVID vaccines. The president wrote:
“It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs. Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree! With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW.
“I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public. Why not??? They go off to the next ‘hunt’ and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies Covid work.
“They show me GREAT numbers and results, but they don’t seem to be showing them to many others. I want them to show them NOW, to CDC and the public, and clear up this MESS, one way or the other!!! I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as ‘BRILLIANT’ as many say it was. If not, we all want to know about it, and why???”
Standing With Israel
Egyptian diplomats have reportedly informed their American and Israeli counterparts that Hamas will not accept a ceasefire deal, in spite of public claims to the contrary.
In view of this continuing diplomatic stalemate, Israeli media report that President Trump urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “Forget the partial deals. Go in with full force and finish this.”
That is the only way there will be peace in Gaza. These Islamic supremacists must be crushed.
While more and more nations are pushing the insane idea of a Palestinian state carved out of Judea and Samaria, Hamas is not interested in peace with Israel or even a piece of Israel.
