Murder In Minneapolis
A demonic force was unleashed in Minneapolis today. An evil individual opened fire on a Catholic church this morning, shooting through the windows from the outside as children were attending a back-to-school mass.
Multiple children, praying in their pews, were shot. An eight-year-old child and a ten-year-old child were killed. Fourteen other children were injured. Two are in critical condition. The shooter took his own life at the scene.
He posted a video online that shows multiple bullet holders or magazines with messages on them, including “for the children,” “Where’s your God now,” presumably mocking the Catholic church, “F-ck everything that you stand for,” and “kill Donald Trump.” He wrote other messages, including “6 million wasn’t enough,” “Burn Israel,” and “Israel must fall.”
You couldn’t ask for a more obvious example of Exhibit A in the war against Judeo-Christian civilization.
The shooter identified as transgender and changed his name from “Robert” to “Robin.”
A Fox News reporter said this afternoon that he went by two names. Are you kidding me? He changed his name from a man’s name to a woman’s name because he identified as transgender!
Was It A Hate Crime?
It was infuriating, but not surprising, to see how careful news commentators were to not speculate on whether this was a hate crime.
If someone opened fire on a mosque, the motivation would be the first thing addressed.
If someone opened fire on a gay bar, reporters would fall over each other to raise the question of hate crimes.
But you didn’t hear that speculation today.
Of course, it was a hate crime!
Yet no one in the business of reporting would even speculate about that because they don’t have the sense of Christians being a persecuted group. (See next item.) It’s LGBTQ people who are persecuted and killed. It’s Muslims who are persecuted and killed.
At a press conference today, the Minneapolis police chief urged mosques, synagogues, and churches to increase their security. Synagogues everywhere have guards because of the explosion of antisemitism in America. I can’t remember the last time a mosque in America was attacked. But the police chief had to throw mosques into his statement.
Hate crimes against Muslims are not a problem. There are no roving gangs of Christians and Jews beating Muslims in the streets. But if I put bacon on the door of a mosque, that will be national news!
One reporter asked if today’s attack had anything to do with other recent events. The police chief said no. Well, seven people were shot yesterday at another Catholic school. One person was killed. And we’re supposed to believe that’s just a coincidence?
Christians Under Attack
We are one of the few places that will tell you the inconvenient truth about the growing anti-Christian movement in “Transworld.” The most notable example was the attack on a Christian school in Tennessee, where authorities hid that fact as long as they could.
There were other events where trans students were plotting to go to school and mow down innocent students.
A recent Christian convert was gunned down on the steps of a church in Seattle. The church’s pastor has been the leader of a revival that Seattle’s LGBTQ crowd has denounced and even violently attacked. And the mayor of Seattle blamed the Christians for the violence.
I don’t know any more than anyone else about what happened this morning in Minneapolis, but here’s an observation: Christians are the most persecuted and most hunted faith in the world.
When I said that during my tenure on the U.S. Commission for International Religious Freedom, I was attacked by Democrat politicians and leftists in the media.
Every week, Christian families and their children are hunted in countries all over the world. Most of the time, the hunters are radical Islamists. Not only does the American media not say anything about it, frankly, many American church leaders won’t say anything about it.
There are many progressive churches obsessing over Gaza that never raise one breath of concern about their fellow Christians being slaughtered around the world.
Several weeks ago, a Greek church in Damascus, Syria, was bombed by Islamists. More than two dozen Christians were killed, and 60 others were injured.
Thirty Christians a day are being murdered in Nigeria. More than 19,000 churches have been destroyed. The media call it “a dispute between herders and farmers” because they don’t want to say what it really is—an Islamic war on Christians.
Dozens of Catholic churches have been burned in Canada and France. Hundreds of churches have been attacked in this country, too. Many places in Africa have been purged of Jews, and now there are systematic efforts to eliminate Christians. And the American media has virtually ignored all of it.
As the number of Muslim migrants flooding into Europe grows, the number of rapes goes up and the number of churches destroyed goes up. Isn’t diversity grand?
If there’s a shooting at a Christian church or Christian school, the odds are stronger and stronger that the attacker will be either a radical Islamist or someone among the “alphabet people.”
That fact is a reminder that the radical Left is in an alliance with radical Islam in a war against Judeo-Christian civilization.
I have spent half my life urging, begging, and prodding Christians to be active and involved citizens. For those churches that won’t do it and to my brothers and sisters who don’t think politics has anything to do with them, your inaction will spur more hate and persecution.
Instead of expressing your frustrations with politics and voting, you’ll be forced to figure out ways to save the lives of your children. You are surrendering the country to the radical Left, Islamists, and the LGBTQ crowd. You will not be able to ignore them. They are coming for our children.
Trump In Charge
President Trump held another cabinet meeting yesterday afternoon. Heading into the Labor Day weekend, the meeting highlighted many of the things the administration has done for hardworking Americans.
It is unimaginable that Joe Biden could have had a cabinet meeting in which he interacted with each cabinet secretary and the media for well over three hours. He wouldn’t last 30 minutes.
Yesterday’s cabinet meeting was an impressive display of stamina and knowledge. And every 15 minutes, Trump was sharpening the difference between us and the Left and putting them back on their heels.
A Big Difference
One of those differences the president highlighted is crime. While the streak was unfortunately broken, Washington, D.C., went 12 days without a homicide thanks to President Trump’s leadership.
In contrast, there were 573 murders in Chicago last year. That’s more than one murder every day. This past weekend, six people were killed and 27 were shot.
Meanwhile, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is all over the TV lashing out, but not at crime or gangs. No, all of his anger is aimed at the guy offering to help him get crime under control—President Trump.
It’s safe to say that the vast majority of the victims of the weekend’s crime spree were minorities, and it’s Donald Trump, not Brandon Johnson, who has their best interests at heart.
I don’t know what got into him, but Joe Scarborough had Mayor Johnson on his MSDNC show yesterday morning. He asked the mayor a simple question: “Yes or no, if all the social programs you wanted were fully funded, would more police on the streets make Chicago safer?”
Johnson could not say yes, no matter how many times Scarborough rephrased the question.
That shows you what’s at work here.
It’s not just that Democrats don’t want immigration police in their cities. It’s not just that they don’t want the National Guard in their cities. They don’t want police, period!
So, you have to ask the obvious question: Why do they want their cities overrun by criminals? I think the answer is that they want a demoralized population that will do what they’re told.
Children At Risk
Here’s another stark difference between us and the Left. The Trump administration has notified 46 states that they have 60 days to remove radical gender ideology from a federally subsidized sex education program.
The Biden/Harris regime aggressively pushed gender derangement ideology on our children, encouraging them to mutilate their bodies.
It’s good the Trump administration is fighting back. But leftist jurisdictions, like California, will do everything and anything they can to make sure the LGBTQ ideology and indoctrination remain because the most important battle that is raging is the battle for the hearts and minds of our children. The winner of that battle wins everything.
Here’s another point. If the administration warned 46 states, that means radical gender ideology is in many Red states. In a state like Tennessee, it’s probably not in rural communities, but I’d bet the farm it’s in Nashville and other big cities.
This should be a wake-up call to Republican legislators in Red states: Get your cities under control!
